
Eastern
Stars are recreational Ice Hockey Club based at Lea Valley
Ice Centre, East London. We have players of all ages and
abilities playing distinctive European influence hockey.
Eastern Stars players come from Russia, Estonia, Latvia,
Lithuania, Belarus, Ukraine, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Finland,
UK, Canada, Sweden and USA.
Eastern
Stars were founded in 2000 by Igor Iljin and Vadim Vinnikov.
First game a new born team played on 12th of April, 2000
at Alexandra Palace Ice Rink against The Team of The World.
Eastern Stars triumphed with a score of 12:6. Since then
Eastern Stars demonstrated excellent hockey - playing friendly
games against: Haringey Greyhounds and Streatham Redskins.

We hold our regular training and scrimmage sessions at Lea
Valley Ice Centre every Tuesday @ 10.00pm - players of all
ages and abilities are welcome. If you are interested in
attending please contact one of the club members.

Eastern
Stars will be on holiday in August 2008. Our last training
session will be on 29th July. We will be then back on ice
on 2nd September. Thank you very much.

each game and practice to Igor or Andrew, so we can organise
our games or cancel our practice in advance when we don't
have enough players.
